Question on fixes (???) (Myke or Ksihk)

A while back, right after MPP started, I reported an issue with a 2nd reply being appended to a 1st reply if no one (else) replied to the thread in between the two replies.  Myke (or Ksihk), you discovered and corrected this issue right away (and it has worked perfectly ever since).

Out of curiosity, do you recall what the fix was?  Was it just a setting in the configuration options, and if so, what setting?  Or was it something else?

As you probably know, I am also a member at RN (only other website I belong to), and they have the same issue.  I've brought it up a couple of times, but it never seems to get corrected.  I wondered if you could shed some light on what the fix was so I can maybe point them in the right direction(?)

If I remember correctly it was a 'post merge' setting that I adjusted.

Post Merge Time
With this enabled, posts posted within x minutes by the same author right after each other, will be merged. Set the time limit (in minutes) to merge posts. Set to 0 to disable this feature. Default: 60
