Attached is a course on pendulum dowsing. I don't have much to add to the topic and have no experience with it, but I did have a copy of this on hand. I grew up and spent most of my life in an area where water was fairly close to the surface, but in my current location water witches have been a part of life for a long time and are still used quite often. I was always skeptical, but I'm skeptical of everything until I get around to testing it myself. I do have two brass L rods ready to go, but I need to get around to familiarizing myself with them. Water here can sometimes be virtually inaccessible, but it's not uncommon to see 350' and I've seen them close to 900'. It's a farming and ranching community, fairly arid, so not only is there a need to find water but it also has to flow at a high enough rate to meet the demands of crops. Some of the wells here recharge quite slowly.

Quote:Robin was having the same problems that many beginning dowsers have, trouble with accuracy and repeatability. She wisely wrote to the American Society of Dowsers asking for help. The Society sent her the names of ten Dowsers and I was privileged to be one of them. Robin sent a letter to each one and received informative letters from all of us. I had recognized the need for a booklet of this type for some time, but it was this letter that inspired me to start developing it. In an effort to make the booklet as clear as possible and with the suggestions from many dowsers, it is now in its tenth revision with subsequent minor revisions for clarity.
