Is anyone here completely pissed off about something?

Honestly, I feel like I'm beyond being pissed off. After watching the multitudes roll up their sleeves and line up for the death-jab back in ... What was it, 2021? ... I have come to the conclusion that the whole damn system is rotten to the core and most people are perfectly content with that. My own son told me, when I asked him to think for himself, "I don't need to think for myself." 

OK...

A mantra of mine of late is George Carlin's statement about the One Big Club. I probably repeat that my wife 4 or 5 times a week. Even she is still trying to have some level of faith in the system.



I have come to think of the jabs as an example of what I call "unnatural selection." Just as natural selection thins out the herd by eliminating the weak, I figure unnatural selection does that by eliminating the stupid, the simple-minded. I do feel for people who took it because they felt that they had no choice in order to keep feeding their family as I was not in a position where I had to make that choice, but for anybody who rolled up their sleeve and lined up willingly and is now suffering from the effects, I have no sympathy; nothing but disdain. 

I feel like I am watching the final acts of a tragicomedy and I'm running out of popcorn. 

No, I'm not pissed off anymore. I'm just wishing the show would just wrap up. I don't even know what that'd mean, but I don't really care.

I've thought about what you have said about your son, I remember that since you mentioned it before. At first I thought, "typical of a youngster to say such a thing", but now with AI, no one really needs to think for themselves any longer, or think at all for that matter. When most things are fully automated and service robots are common place, no one will do anything either.
