I get what are called silent migraines. The headache is absent, and there are what are called shimmers. They look kinda like this:
The point is, while the medical people explain migraines as disturbances in the brain, the distortions appear in the peripheral vision where the rods are located. The shimmers are also in colour. Which brings to mind the colour codes described earlier in this thread in the TV experiments.
I, too suffer from acephalgic migraines! They don't always present the same, either. Most times I see what appears to be a funnel-like cloud in my upper vision, but occasion all I'll get a jerky strobe-like effect in my vision, or what looks like a yellow honeycomb.
It's always struck me as odd how the symptoms switch around. I also get very strong retinal imprinting effects, which has me wondering if the two go hand-in-hand. It also makes me wonder if the image of 'shadow people' that appear in my peripheral vision are also somehow connected with migraines.

My suggestion here is such a surveillance device in the UV light spectrum would be a good description of that bust that appeared in my kitchen with the perfect view of who is at home and the computer.
If they waste their time on some nobody from outback Australia, one would wager they already have these spying on more important people.
My guess for a countermeasure is we should be able to employ a UV camera to detect a UV hologram. (smile) I wonder if anyone at the Kremlin or White House has thought of that . . .

I feel more like a target than a guinea pig, and home trespass makes them criminals. Voyeurs? One wonders if they might be looking in places they shouldn't, and I don't mean the war room at the Pentagon. (where did I put that shotgun . . . )
LOL I remember Pigsy over on ATS would try to shoot paranormal intruders, he even posted photos of bullet holes in his bedroom walls.
I have another bit of future tech that has been spotted around here.

Wow, contacts that let you see into the infrared.
From your link:
Quote:Researchers have given people a taste of superhuman vision after creating contact lenses that allow them to see infrared light, a band of the electromagnetic spectrum that is invisible to the naked eye.
Unlike night vision goggles, the contact lenses need no power source, and because they are transparent, wearers can see infrared and all the normal visible colours of light at the same time.
The rainbow of colours visible to humans spans wavelengths from 400 to 700 nanometres (a nanometre is a millionth of a millimetre). But many other animals sense the world differently. Birds, bees, reindeer and mice can see ultraviolet light, wavelengths too short for humans to perceive. Meanwhile, some snakes and vampire bats have organs that detect far-infrared, or thermal radiation, which helps them hunt for prey.
To extend humans’ range of vision and enhance our experience of the world, the scientists developed what are called upconversion nanoparticles. The particles absorb infrared light and re-emit it as visible light. For the study, the scientists chose particles that absorb near-infrared light, comprising wavelengths that are just too long for humans to perceive, and converted it into visible red, green or blue light.
Writing in the journal Cell, the scientists describe how they made soft contact lenses seeded with upconversion nanoparticles. When worn, people could see Morse code-like signals flashed from an infrared LED and tell what direction infrared light came from.
Their infrared vision improved when they closed their eyes, because eyelids block visible light more than infrared, so there was less visible light to interfere.
The lenses are not sensitive enough to see natural low levels of infrared light, and because warm objects radiate mostly in the far-infrared, the lenses do not provide thermal vision. But future work will focus on making lenses that are more effective, the scientists say.
Xue said: “If materials scientists can develop upconversion nanoparticles with higher efficiency, it may become possible to see surrounding infrared light using contact lenses.”
Even without full infrared vision, Xue sees applications. For example, secret messages sent by infrared light would only be visible to people wearing the contact lenses, he said.
From the article: Their infrared vision improved when they closed their eyes, because eyelids block visible light more than infrared, so there was less visible light to interfere.
Interesting find Nugget.
Note that they are researching the infrared and not the UV frequencies. UV - restricted bandwidth? Or maybe a can of worms.
If the ancients discovered the secrets of life and created living machines, the question arises: Where do the machines go when they die?

That brings me to a story of something I do that I discovered was not the norm.
In a previous life i, husband and child breifly stayed with his folks until we could find a new place to live. I went to our bedroom to rest, and my younger sister walked in the room about 15 minutes later. She sttod in front of me, staring at me for a couple of minutes. My eyes were closed, but I could see the shadow of her shape weel enough to know who it was.
I thought that was odd, so decided to keep my eyes closed and I watched her go to our closet. She quietlty slid the door open, looking at everything and then grabbed a babyshoe box where I had a few special momentos. She took out a scarf I'd had since I was three, along with a photo of me wearing it.
Now, I had suspected the she might be the one behind all the things that went missing from all the other people in the house.
She got within two feet of me and I popped my eyes open, asking her WTH she thought she was doing. She muttered and sputtered, then said she was just going to show it to her younger sister. I made her had the things over to me, and she wanted to know how I could possible have known, since she had kept an eye on me the whole time and I necer opened my eyes. Then she told everyone at dinner that I could see with my eyes closed.
I always thought everybody could!
To this day I can see the shadow outline of people moving around when my eyes are closed. It always freaks people out, and I havr no explaination to this day why or how I can do this.
*As an aside, my former SIL never did outgrow her cleptomania, according to her niece (my daughter). Every time she visits someones' home things go missing if she's left alone for more than two seconds, and even then there are no guarantees.

I think so too and have been wondering the same thing.
You would probably pay attention to migraine triggers, I do. Some things I can put down to (car) chrome reflections of sunlight hitting my eyes. There are other, more frequent times when there is no obvious trigger. Often inside my home where there are no bright lights.
And yes, I can agree that often the migraines are triggered by what seems to be a movement or sudden distortion in my peripheral vision.

I wonder if your eyes closed blocks visible light and lets through normally unnoticed light.
You obviously don't need to, yet perhaps like wearing the dicyanin glasses blocks most visible light so when you take them off in a dark room the eyes are more sensitive to the human atmosphere (aura)?
Quote:I always thought everybody could!
That is what the young lady who does the drawings for me says. She thought everyone could see the shadows, so never mentioned it. It was when, if I recall correctly, there was a wolfman sitting in a tree watching the house that she told her mother. The wolfman scared the heck out of the kid.
She always thought everyone could see the black bunnies with red eyes in the garden. : )

I have come to believe there is no such thing as the paranormal; there are just natural abilities that people are born with and never devolope because they don'tknow or believe they exist.
I'm also considering the possibility that there are people who can see into other demensions that co-exist with ours, however I've not had any experience in that area to my knowledge. It seems possible that your experiences are connected to other realms, somehow-yet I'm having a great deal of trouble understanding and following the whole womb/female/blue light/fairyline.
It doesn't matter if I understand or not, I enjoy new information and thought processes so I'm enjoying the information you're presenting. If i'm meant to understand and connect with the information something will eventually click into place, but in the mean time I'm still discovering tidbits of info I do understand, like the new infrared contacts-and the possibilities that may lead to explaining the other world(s) we live along side.
I have a hard time explaining my thoughts, so I hope my jumbled explaination isn't too confusing.

Exactly! And the reason for this thread. : )

Ah, that is because I can dream while awake. That is the simple explanation., shared interactive dreaming. For me, it is an overlay on my reality. My ex-ish wife explained it like this; When someone close to us passes away, they will often visit within a week or so. That generally happens when we are doing something that we don't have to think about. Like washing the car. That is when we absentmindedly find ourselves having a conversation with the dearly departed. Everyone can do that, women more so than men.
The dreaming while awake comes from looking into the void between two thoughts. How do we get from thought A to thought B to thought C? That would be the void. Thoughts exist in the void. Stop thinking thoughts and look between them.

Well, I'm not disagreeing, just curious when I asked "how so?" to your "Actually, I was thinking the cause of,not caused by shadow figures." ~ Nugget.
I assumed the cause and effect in thinking the shimmers were caused by shadow folk. I thought maybe they emit something that hits the eyes. I listen to the words of the ladies because women have a deeper understanding of things than men. That is why I asked : )
