they now have a complete blackout on the subject over on DI

the information is out there for anyone who wants to take 5 minutes to verify

we just wanted the community to know that DI is being run by a convicted felon and SO

we will stay there to monitor the situation

They monitor here it seems, and probably Rogue Nation too.

Occasionally I have a little look here and see if anything interesting is being talked about. This subject happens to be of some interest to me because I recently got banned on DI for dubious reasons.

It was right after I posted a thread in the questions/feedback section asking what version, if any, of this community survey I would be allowed to post. Now, look, I'm aware this is a lot to ask a conspiracy forum but since I was only asking a question (the form is not accepting responses as you can see), this was obviously not a reason to permaban me without warning. I believe they were just looking for an excuse. The real reason was probably my political views.

Anyway, if they don't want me there, that's all well and good. But then I received an e-mail with subject "No pappa found" (pappa being the Dutch word for daddy, I had mentioned I had a daughter somewhere) and body: "Just a bored financial advisor with nothing to do?"

Then another e-mail with this:

Quote:Dutch Penal Code (Wetboek van Strafrecht):

Article 285b Sr – Stalking / Threatening behavior

Article 285c Sr – Harassment / Threats

Article 225 Sr – Fraud

Article 231 Sr – Forgery / Misrepresentation

Article 138ab Sr – Illegal access / computer crime

Article 350 Sr – Computer sabotage / interference

Dutch Data Protection Law (AVG / GDPR):

Article 5 AVG – Lawfulness, fairness, transparency

Article 6 AVG – Lawful basis for processing

Article 45 AVG – Unauthorized processing of personal data

Which seems to be suggesting that they thought I've broken some Dutch law relating to cyber crime (I haven't). So they apparently tried to doxx me (and failed; I'm not a financial advisor at all) and then might have reported who they thought was me to Dutch law enforcement. That's obviously not going to go anywhere, but it's alarming behavior from a forum owner. I wouldn't recommend joining that place.

My God!

We've gone through the rounds here, you and I, and we worked things out reasonably. But never had I ever had the thought of attacking you personally like this. Mess with you a little with my posts, perhaps, but nothing extreme.

I know if TSK or other maniacs on DI wanted to figure me out, they can follow the bread crumbs or have AI do it. I certainly don't want them to do that, so thanks for posting your DI experiences here. I know at least one of their henchmen is a hacker who used to hack ATS to allow you to regain access to your profile after that glitch happened. All the overlords of Deny Ignorance held rank on Above Top Secret and still network on Discord. A seedy lot if you ask me, esp. with this extreme kind of behavior.

Hey TL,

The first thing I want to do is thank you for this information, because by doing so you provide an actual service to this community. You posted this in spite of the, let's say, 'tumultuous', relationship you've had with my site, and that takes some balls and integrity to do.

I respect that.

Hopefully anyone else who has went through the same will post about it here too, as they will be censored for talking about it elsewhere. We don't do that here.

Sending you a PM.

So the authoritrian right-wingers that didn't get you banned from our right-wing echo chamber on CypherAge somehow got you banned from another site that's owned by an alt-left, anti-Trump, Democrat, that's into liberal activism?

That's a fascinating hypothesis. I'm intrigued to know how we pulled it off.

I don't actually know anything about their political views, they didn't post much about that stuff as fas as I could see. I just know DI is mostly conservative so I assumed.

Maybe it was for some other reason, then. Maybe they really did get it into their head that I'm some kind of cyber criminal. Would be interesting because I gave them absolutely no reason to.

Heh, tumultuous, maybe, but I don't take that stuff personally. People here mostly just didn't want to talk about the same stuff I did (which is a shame because I liked some of the people here and I like the small population). It was interesting to read everyone's perspectives, regardless.

And indeed I was never censored here. That's worth something, and apparently hard to come by.

Personally, I'm glad that TL hasn't disappeared entirely, esp. with this information he provided. It is easy to run away and hard to break out of the box and leave your comfort zone. That is true of any of us here.

I'm also glad I joined this forum as an alternative to the now-defunct ATS. As I remember it, this one was created as a refuge for members of the sick and dying ATS before DI came out, supposedly for the same purpose. I joined here before I joined DI, but I should have joined way sooner, before I joined Discord at least.
