US Strikes Iran!

If that's the case, this is just another 9/11 or WMD show to get everyone beating their war drums .  . .

Interesting, considering how Israel was bragging about how they have all of Iran's intelligence information and how they used it in their attacks on Iran. Then, there is the fact that Iran notified the U.S. about their retaliation plans on our base in Qatar before their attack, so we could evacuate the base. I suspect that the U.S. gave notice before they unleashed the bunker-busters on Iran in that attack.

It sure is beginning to look like a theatrical performance from beginning to end, or some kind of polite warfare, like the Marquess of Queensberry Rules for boxing.

"Here we go Chap, I'll be throwing a left to the jaw while jabbing with my right."

"Very good Ole Boy. I'll be sure to duck while taking the jabs, the crowd will love it."

I see Mr Trump used the F-word saying both Iran and Israel have been fighting so long they have lost the plot.

Quite unbecoming of a head of state to use the F-word . . .

I think that's why his appeal among the working class is so high-he speaks just like they talk, not the forked tongue, mumbo jumbo that comes out of the usual politicians mouth that leaves everyone wondering WTF they just said.  Biggrin

Ah hah. He isn't a lawyer by any means. But let's not forget such gems as:

"This war would never have started if I were president" - "I'll finish this in one day" - "100 days" - let's pretend this didn't happen and walk away.

Perhaps just a different style of BS?

ETA: that aside, Trump using the F-word in public to a reporter as he did says he lost his temper. Something that shouldn't be done in diplomacy nor as the commander in chief of a nuclear power. Because it is the same as tipping over the card table in a game of poker.

Spitting the dummy is what it is called : )

I certainly can't argue with you there, but no matter how badly the next four years end I can't imagine them being any worse than the four years under biden, or what four years under kamalala would have looked like.

Trump is a fan of AI, crypto currency and government control over both, which really bothers me. I see both as very detrimental to the average citizen, but we know it's coming and so is control. I'd rahter see the GOP write the rules, but I'm not dumb enough to think the next liberal administration won't completely change the rules of oversight.

You can't un-ring a bell.  Sad

Quote:The Israelis are talking about staging false flags and detonating nukes in America because Trump tried getting them to agree to a ceasefire.

X is hopping with Israeli anti-America rhetoric. Meanwhile, questionable Iranians in the US are being rounded up, and a prison for detainees is being built in the Everglades.

Quote:Florida has begun building a detention centre - dubbed the 'Alligator Alcatraz' - to temporarily hold migrants on an air strip in the Everglades.

The facility is to be built on the site of the Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport, a public airport around 58km (36 miles) from Miami. It will cost about $450m  a year to run.

The detention centre could be built in 30 to 60 days and hold an estimated 1,000 people.

$450m a year to run and it only holds 1,000 people?   Huh

Well, sure!  It's the federal government; they can't do anything for less than about $3-400 million.  A cheese sammich at a federal pen costs $55,715.95 bucks!  (and that's using government cheese!)  Orange juice (still in the juice box) costs $12k a pop.  They're proud of that shit.

Outsource the same thing in FL, and it will cost about $1,850 bucks per year.

US government can't do anything small!  Nothing!  Everybody has to get their fingers into the pie.

I see NATO is panicking about Iran leaving the nuclear non-proliferation treaty.

Well now . . .

The elephant in the room of course is Israel isn't a signatory to that treaty either, and won't let the international inspectors anywhere near their nuclear facilities.
